AASV Office Construction

The AASV office is moving! Construction is underway on a new building in Perry, Iowa, that will lease space to AASV and a pet-food distributorship. The new location will provide AASV with expanded office space and access to a loading dock and warehouse. The move to 830 26th Street in Perry (all other contact information will remain the same) is expected to take place by November 2009. In the meantime, follow the construction progress below:

June 16, 2009

Meanwhile, back at the cabinet shop, oak trim is laid out for finishing so it will be ready for installation once the office interior is complete:

The steel siding and windows are installed; the building exterior is nearing completion!

Workers have been busy indoors the past two weeks, installing plumbing, wiring, and insulation. Now it's all being buried under the sheetrock as the office walls take shape.

October 5, 2009
The AASV fall board meeting was held in Perry to allow the board to tour the office construction site. Board members Dr. Doug Groth and Dr. Tom Fangman visit as they tour the office interior. Sheetrocking is nearly complete; the walls are ready for texture and paint. Meanwhile, additional board members gather outdoors following their tour.

November 2, 2009
The walls are painted and the carpet, doors, and lighting are installed: almost ready for move-in!

The boxes are packed and the concrete has cured. The move has begun -- and so has the rain.
